You'll be working on the pricing and tendering of complex mechanical, electrical, and specialist systems projects.
This role will suit someone from a mechanical services, hydraulics, building services, fire protection, or similar technical estimating background who understands how to price pipework, pump systems, plant, specialist equipment, and installation scopes.
If you've worked as a Bid Manager, Estimator, or Senior Estimator within fire protection, mechanical services, hydraulics, pump systems, or a similar technical construction environment, this role will feel familiar.

Key responsibilities
* Commercially minded with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tenders at once.
* Review tender specifications, CAD designs, scopes, and project documentation.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, subcontractors, equipment, and specialist services ($500k to $2 million+).
* Build detailed tender submissions, proposals, clarifications, exclusions, and supporting bid documentation.
* Liaise with internal design, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure submissions are technically sound and commercially practical.
* Manage multiple tenders at once with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
* Build supplier relationships and obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and vendors.
* Manage tender correspondence, including RFIs, schedules, and contract‐related documentation.
* Assist in developing pricing databases, cost benchmarks, and estimating systems.
