We are offering a permanent part-time role for a Support Worker within our supported independent living services. Qualified Nurse Assistants and Enrolled Nurses (SCHADS Level 3) are encouraged to apply.

About The Role
Flexible Work Schedule: Rotating roster options to accommodate various personal commitments. Working days – Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Providing support to improve independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, medication, and personal care.
* Keeping customer records up to date using online systems.
* Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.
* Assist in the development or implementation of care plans.
To Be Successful In This Role
You are punctual, friendly, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. You are invested in providing the highest quality in disability services and are competent in working with people with a disability.
Requirements
* Appropriate certificate level qualification in Disability or Community Services/individual support or equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry.
* Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans.
* Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support, including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted.
Desirable
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and other common systems.
* Advanced knowledge of services and programs under NDIS.
* Understanding of Person-Centered Practices.
