This role is primarily responsible for making of assembly and production drawings of Rubber, Polymet and Metallic Mill Linings. This position will be located in Canning Vale, Western Australia.
**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Preparation of Product Drawings and Manufacturing drawings
- Mould and tooling design
- Preparation of Parts Lists and Manufacturing templates, to correspond with drawings, using Microsoft Office and other related software products.
- Preparing documentation of layouts, diagrams, working drawing and details, used to convey information to production personnel, fabricators, toolmakers, engineers and other suppliers.
- Making changes, as required, to existing drawings, in line with prescribed quality systems and processes.
- Conferring with Product Support personnel, and Engineering teams, to clarify, or resolve problems and development designs.
- Preparing, or directing preparation of, product or system layouts and detailed drawings and schematics.
- Carrying out requests made by the Drawing Office Manager and/or Plant Operations Manager.
- Maintain the highest excellence and quality in regard to health and safety and QA functions at, all times.
**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience;
- 3 years minimum experience in AutoCAD/Inventor.
- 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering design,
- 1 year minimum experience with Polymer Product design, Polymer technologies, Material properties
- Engineering Data Management (EDM) and Product Data Management (PDM) skills;
- Desirable basic understanding of Minerals Processing.
**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Strong communication skills, listening, oral and written.
- Strong computer and Microsoft office skills and experience.
- Good time management, planning and organisational abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to effectively handle interruptions and switch priorities between jobs as required.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
