Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
* Salary range: $216,643 to $274,678 p.a. (L18-L27)
* 4 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* Attraction and retention incentive allowance
* Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
* Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
* Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
As a Psychiatrist – Staff Specialist/Senior Medical Officer:
* Provide an advanced standard of clinical care through the provision of assessment and treament services to individuals presenting with psychiatric, emotional and/or behavioural disturbances to facilities within the THHS, including those being treated under the Mental Health Act (2016).
* Provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit the patients of the Townsville University Hospital and Health Service (THHS). This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
Requirements:
* Mandatory qualifications (Psychiatry) and proof of registration (AHPRA).
* All applicants must be awarded SoCP by the THHS Credentialing and SoCP Committee.
* Possession of class C drivers' licence.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
