Exciting Opportunity for a 2IC to help lead our XPLOR Centre!

About Our Centre

XPLOR Early Learning Centre in Coomera is a vibrant, child‑centred centre dedicated to nurturing curiosity and growth through engaging play‑based and structured learning experiences. We provide a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, empowered and inspired to explore. Our programs incorporate hands‑on activities that support social, emotional and cognitive development. At XPLOR, strong relationships with families and a passionate team of educators help children thrive and love learning.

Role Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated 2IC (Assistant Centre Manager) to support the Centre Manager and lead the delivery of high-quality curriculum across the service. This role is ideal for a confident, relationship-focused leader with strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership attributes and a genuine passion for early childhood education and curriculum excellence.

The successful candidate will need:

* a Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)

* a current and valid Working with Children Check

* a Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

* experience with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & the QKLG

* an ability to interpret curriculum documents

* effective oral and written communication skills

Key Role Responsibilities

* Assist the Centre Manager when needed and support/lead your team when required.

* Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.

* Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

* Oversee and role model the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, educational program.

* Participate in professional and personal development.

* Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values.
