Hourly rate is based on experience.Join Our Caring Community at Churches of ChristAre you a compassionate and qualified Home Care Worker passionate about supporting older Australians to live independently and with dignity?Churches of Christ is seeking dedicated professionals to join our Home Care team for the West Moreton and Scenic Rim Region.What You’ll DoProvide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, and toileting.Assist clients with medication management in accordance with care plans and organizational policies.Offer domestic support, including meal preparation and household tasks.Facilitate social engagement through transport and companionship.Monitor and report changes in clients' health to the Service Coordinator or Registered Nurse.Maintain accurate documentation and participate in care plan reviews.Qualifications and RequirementsCertificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.Completion of HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication, HLTAAP001 – Recognise Healthy Body Systems, and CHCCCS031 – Provide Individualised Support.Current and up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications.A minimum of 12 months' experience in a direct care role. (Desirable)A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle that is suitable to be used for work purposes.
