Finn Air has an prospect available for an experienced Building Automation Technician to join our Brisbane-based HVAC and Controls company.
Finn Air has been providing specialised air conditioning services to large commercial, retail and industrial premises for the past 40 years.

Responsibilities
The applicant is required to be a team player with a positive attitude; and have experience in servicing, repairing and installing control systems on commercial and industrial sites.
Responsibilities will include the management of building HVAC plant to achieve comfort conditions, energy targets, fault-finding, engineering control applications and commissioning projects.
Qualifications
At least 3-5 years experience in the automation and HVAC industries
Have a good understanding of, and a background in, computers, networking and industry protocols such as BACnet, Modbus and LON
Experience using Tridium Niagara or other similar automation products
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, specifications and plant operating instructions
Diagnose and rectify electrical or control faults in HVAC BMS systems.
Ability to prepare quotes.
Working autonomously but also within a team environment.
Well presented, with strong customer service skills.
Ability to liaise with clients with a courteous and professional attitude.
A motivated, enthusiastic personality with great organisational skills.
A self-driven aim to progress your skills and knowledge.
Available to work overtime.
Able and willing to be on-call (rotation on a roster).
All applicants must be Trade Qualified Electrician or Air-Conditioning Technician and hold the following licences: Current QLD Drivers Licence; Restricted Electrical Licence; Industry White Card/Blue Card
