Overview

Join the collaborative eMR PAS and Reconciliation team within the South Western Sydney Local Health District to support safe, high‐quality, and personalised care.

Responsibilities

* Maintain system accuracy: manage the daily maintenance of the electronic medical record (eMR) system.
* Resolve patient records: identify and reconcile duplicate patient records to ensure vital clinical information, such as diagnostic results, is attached to the correct patient.
* Manage provider data: add and update Medical Practitioner details to ensure all contact and provider information remains current and accurate.
* Collaborate across services: work alongside Clinical Information Departments, medical staff, and administration teams to investigate data queries and support seamless patient administration.

Qualifications and Skills

* Collaborative approach – enjoys working closely with colleagues and contributing to shared goals.
* Analytical mindset – comfortable interpreting data, spotting inconsistencies, and solving problems with precision.
* Tech‐literate and adaptable – confident using health software or digital processes.
* Hybrid work rhythm – available full‐time, Monday to Friday, with two days each week working from home.

Selection Criteria (Assessment Questions)

Please describe your experience with data entry or investigation, highlighting how you apply persistence and attention to detail to ensure data integrity.

Can you describe a time you encountered an issue with a colleague or consumer in your previous experience and how you handled it? What would you do if you were unable to achieve a resolution?

How do you manage your time and prioritize your workload? Please share a specific example of a time when you had to self‐manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines in a busy environment.

Outline your experience using Windows applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) in a professional setting, and detail any experience using electronic health systems, particularly patient administration systems like Epic or Cerner eMR.
