The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Insights Manager to play a key role in delivering meaningful, actionable insights to leading retailers and suppliers across Australia and New Zealand.
Sitting within a collaborative team, this role goes beyond reporting. You’ll partner closely with clients to understand their commercial challenges, translate data into compelling stories, and help shape strategies that drive category performance. You’ll also contribute to broader initiatives that strengthen client relationships, improve delivery standards and support long-term growth.
This is a hybrid role, with offices based in Sydney.
ResponsibilitiesOwn the day-to-day delivery and relationship management for a portfolio of key clientsPartner with clients to understand business objectives and shape tailored insight solutionsLead client meetings, workshops and presentations, delivering clear, commercially relevant insightsTranslate data and standard reports into compelling narratives and growth opportunitiesEnsure accuracy, quality and relevance across all client deliverablesCollaborate with internal teams to resolve data or reporting issues efficientlyIdentify opportunities to enhance reporting, analysis and client valueSupport retention and growth by identifying value-add opportunities within existing accounts
About You
You’re a confident client partner who enjoys working at the intersection of data, storytelling and commercial decision-making. You’re comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and thrive in environments where collaboration, quality and continuous improvement matter.
You bring a strong research and insights background, ideally gained within FMCG, retail, category management or agency settings, and enjoy mentoring others while delivering high-quality outcomes.
You’ll HaveStrong experience in insights, research, category or marketing rolesProven ability to manage and grow client relationshipsExcellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insightsConfident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior audiencesStrong project management and stakeholder coordination skillsAdvanced MS Office skills and a high attention to detailDegree-qualified in business, marketing, psychology or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
