Strategic External Communications Lead Role
The Strategic External Communications Lead role presents a unique opportunity to shape national conversations through creative, strategic, and purpose-driven external communications.
* Develop and implement external communication strategies for consumer-focused priorities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key media, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns.
* Manage media activities, enquiries, and proactive opportunities that align with strategic goals.
* Deliver impactful consumer communication content, including media releases, articles, and digital assets.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, media, public relations, or a related discipline.
* 6–8 years' experience in communications, media, or PR (including digital and social media).
* Demonstrated success leading and executing external communication strategies from concept to delivery – ideally for a consumer brand or financial services organisation.
* Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape, content creation, and the ability to pitch and secure media coverage.
