We are looking to engage an experienced Quarry Manager to join an expanding team.You could be a Geraldton resident or someone looking to DIDO or FIFO from Perth.
In this key role you will hold direct responsibility for all aspects of operations at theQuarry - focussing on maximising the performance of people, plant, and fleet to achieve company safety, environmental and financial targets whilst delivering required customer service standards and performance outcomes.
As a leader of Health, Safety and the Environment you will also be accountable for budgeting and production targets, customer and community relations, quality compliance, crushing and screening, drill and blast, maintenance, stockpiling, load out and quarry development. You will lead a multidisciplinary team(including a strong contractor base) with the aim of providing an efficient and effective production process in a safety focused environment and you will work closely with other operations in the business to develop strategies and deliver operational goals for the region.

Main Responsibilities
* Ensure that company safety standards and procedures are achieved
* Supervisionof staff and contractors
* Production,maintenance planning and on-siteimprovements
* Quarry Management for site internal and external audits
* Ensure all personneland contractorsare inducted and trained for the task they perform
* Ensure dailyoperations comply withHolcim's SHE requirements
* Actively participate in Safety Improvement Team meetings and encourage participation of contractors
* Conduct daily pre-start meeting with personnel
About you
* Hold a Quarry Managers Certificate, a SSE (Site Senior Executive) notice or sufficient experience to obtain a notification.
* Strong safety leader with working knowledge of Safety Management Systems, relevant legislation and regulations.
* Experience in quarry operations.
* A thorough understanding of Drill & Blast and Quarry development.
* Practical mobile crushing and screening exposure.
* Budgeting, cost analysis and P&L management experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined environment to deliver productivity and cost improvements.
* Have a strongcustomer focusand be able to work well with sales and technical teams to deliver key business objectives.
