About the Role
This position requires a trade-qualified individual with practical hands-on experience. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective utilisation and co-ordination of machinery under your control.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and high trouble shooting ability. You will be required to complete a Mechanical test in your onsite interview to demonstrate your skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate machinery effectively and efficiently.
2. Perform quality checks and adjustments.
3. Fix machine breakdowns promptly.
4. Responsible for change overs and forklift duties as required.
Requirements
* Trade certification as a Fitter/Turner, Toolmaker, or similar.
* Completed a 4-year apprenticeship.
* LF Forklift license & experience would be advantageous.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
