Job summary:
Position: Chef (Full-Time, Permanent)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Expected salary: $76,515 per year + 12% superannuation
Location: 348 Keira St, Wollongong, NSW 2500
Da Orlando Pizzeria, an authentic full-service fine dining Italian restaurant in Wollongong, is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our energetic culinary team.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and cooking of high-quality Italian cuisine, including Roman-style pizzas, pasta dishes, and traditional Italian specialties.
Ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and adherence to authentic recipes.
Collaborating with the culinary team on menu planning, development, and implementation.
Managing food storage, preparation, and inventory control.
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, food safety standards, and compliance with health regulations.
Requirements:
Relevant qualications and experience as a Chef in a full-service restaurant setting.
Passion for traditional Italian cuisine and a dedication to culinary excellence.
Ability to work efciently in a busy, team-oriented setting.
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, inventory management, and food hygiene standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
