Discover life‐giving possibilities

Lifeblood is more than just a job or a career, it's an opportunity to be part of something that matters. As an organisation, our purpose is simple: to give life. Together, we want to help you build a fulfilling career with Lifeblood.

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Officer/Buyer who will provide support to Lifeblood teams by ensuring timely and efficient processing of administrative tasks including contract and purchasing administration, and liaison with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The Buyer acts as a key contact between Lifeblood and its suppliers after contracts and service level agreements have been negotiated. The role also supports the operational departments that require goods and services to deliver the business. The role has a strong service focus on compliance, problem solving, reporting and continuous improvement.

Sound interesting? Here's what we're looking for:

* Clear understanding of the end‐to‐end Procure‐to‐Pay process and what Procurement does; how buying decisions impact accounts Payable, receiving and finance teams
* Strong capability in PO creation, requisitions, supplier maintenance and approval workflows with the Oracle platform
* Strong grasp of catalogues, approval workflows, CPAs, and BPAs
* Experience operating within a high‐volume transactional or helpdesk‐style environment
* Proven ability to resolve price updates, quantity discrepancies, delivery issues, and invoice mismatches
* Supports category management by operationalising commercial commitments and keeping transactions flowing

Wellbeing & Benefits

We place our employee's well‐being at the forefront and express gratitude and care for one another. As an Australian Workplace Equality Index recognised employer and one of Australia's menopause‐friendly organisations, we celebrate diversity and support all our people.

In addition to being a part of an organisation that is the heartbeat of the Nation, you will have access to the following:

* Ability to purchase additional annual leave
* Access to salary packaging with an option to package up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment
* 14 weeks paid parental leave - no waiting period for either parent
* Our dedicated employee assistance program - Sonder that you can access 24/7 from an app on your phone
* Plus, many more!
