Asset Technical Officer
Contract length: 3 months
Location: Hobart
This is a full time, office-based role.
Hourly rate: $43.9 per hour + super
Responsibilities
- Updating the Tech1 Asset Register for furniture, equipment, fleet, and plant.
- Conducting regular stocktakes of equipment.
- Liaising with internal and external parties to coordinate the transfer and removal of furniture and equipment.
- Managing street lighting complaints to ensure the continued functionality and safety of our infrastructure.
- Supporting the Asset Management Coordinator and other team members with administrative tasks as needed.
Skills
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong administrative and asset management skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant Cert IV qualification.
- A full driver's license.
- Experience with Tech1, GIS, and Mydata software is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
