BlackAdder Associates Executive Positions – Triabunna TAS – Contract
Glamorgan Spring Bay Council is responsible for one of Tasmania's most distinctive regions, spanning coastal townships, agricultural land, national parks and pristine marine environments. The CEO leads the organisation, overseeing all operational activity, managing people and resources, and providing clear, informed advice to the elected Council. The CEO aligns service delivery with community priorities and ensures Council meets its obligations under legislation.
Responsibilities
* Take on the role of CEO, the most senior staff position in the organisation.
* Oversee all operational activity, manage people and resources, and provide clear, informed advice to the Council.
* Lead governance, strategy, financial management, risk and people management; guide the organisation through challenge and change.
* Build trust with the Council, with staff and with the wider community.
* Shape a small but significant organisation in a region where connection between people and place runs deep.
Qualifications
* Senior leadership experience in the local government sector.
* Strong grasp of governance, strategy, financial management, risk and people management.
