We're currently seeking a QLD Heavy Road Transport Coordinator to join our expanding operations team at our Hamilton Office.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Road Transport and leadership. You'll take the reins of a high-performing team of Heavy Road Transport Mechanics operating in throughout QLD.
In this role, you'll be backed by experienced coordinators and a skilled admin support team. Key responsibilities include:
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee a team of Road Transport Mechanics across QLD
* Manage your roster around work schedules, ensuring customer timelines are met
* Collaborate with other teams to align labour resources with customer needs and breakdown support
* Oversee team performance, provide motivation, and recognise achievements.
* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards
* Manage budgets, rosters and lead your team effectively
* Support recruitment, from interviewing and offer negotiation to onboarding new team members
* Conduct regular site visits for client engagement and team performance/safety checks
* Drive business development and growth in your region
* Oversee team performance, provide motivation, and recognize achievements.

* Trade Qualification (Heavy Road Transport Mechanical)
* Previous experience working in a similar role or as a workshop/service supervisor
* Previous experience within the Road Transport industry in QLD
* Excellent organisational skills and intermediate computer literacy skills
