Role Overview
The Director of Physical Wellbeing will provide strategic leadership in the implementation, evaluation, and promotion of wellbeing initiatives for medical staff across Sydney Local Health District.
This involves contributing high-level managerial support and project management expertise to ensure SLHD MDOK strategic objectives are delivered effectively and sustainably, with a focus on initiatives that enhance physical activity, recovery, and staff engagement.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
* Excellent leadership skills and ability to lead diverse and multidisciplinary teams in achieving strategic and program objectives.
* Qualifications in health or exercise-related discipline, with equivalent work experience; operational experience with medical staff beneficial.
* Strong commitment to medical staff wellbeing and extensive working knowledge of wellness programs, particularly focused on physical activity.
* Experience in establishing an integrative approach to health and wellness within a complex organisation.
