RAATISC are looking for a committed, skilled and passionate individual to join the friendly RAATSIC team as a Program Support Officer – Level 3 - Cairns Based – Leaving Violence Program

Position Purpose:
The Program Support Officer works within a dedicated and passionate team providing onsite support to the Leaving Violence Program Team and clientele and works in collaboration with RAATSIC’s internal programs to meet project objectives, fulfill program and service delivery reporting requirements.
The Opportunity:
• This position is Part-Time and is based in Cairns.
• The primary responsibility of the Program Support Officer provides administrative support to the Team Leader to meet internal requirements and external service agreement delivery expectations.
• This position also coordinates and manages staff travel, events, assisting finance, sourcing and purchasing of program resources, coordinating team meetings and general administration for the overall team and Program.
About You:
• Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality practices and organisational policy procedures.
• An ability to work in a culturally respectful and competent manner, with Aboriginal young people, their families and communities, to ensure that cultural connections are fostered and maintained.
• Have an above average level of computer skills and relevant technology, specifically all aspects of Microsoft Office suite.
• Have effective time management skills (punctuality, meeting deadlines, prioritising tasks).
• Have a general understanding of the impacts of Intimate Partner Violence, especially with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples.
