About the role
Ventia is seeking a Range Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of the Training Area Range in the Bindoon Training Area.
Your responsibilities include preparing ranges for customer use, maintaining live fire target equipment, and assisting with HSE inspections and land management activities. You'll respond to customer needs, perform estate upkeep, and contribute to bushfire response efforts. This role also involves manufacturing and repairing targets, ensuring compliance with Range Standing Orders, and upholding company values and safety standards across all tasks.

About you
1+ years' experience in a similar operational role
Bush firefighting qualifications and First Aid certification
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office)
Competence in using tools and equipment for range operations
Skilled in map reading and vehicle-based navigation
Commitment to teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
