Major Insurance Services is a local Insurance brokerage, now part of the global Howden Insurance Group. We operate in Bunbury, the broader South West area and beyond.
Due to continuous growth in the company, the role of a Account Executive has become available.
We operate in a team environment meaning that cultural fit is very important. The role would suit a candidate with a positive attitude, outgoing personality and ability to pro-actively work autonomously with a high level of accuracy. A genuine care for customers is required.
Previous Australian Broking background is essential. This role is not suited for candidates looking to start a career in insurance broking.
Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is preferred. Previous experience with WinBeat, Sunrise, SCTP, or OIT will also be an advantage.
Our office hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
This position will attract a salary range appropriate to the successful candidate's experience and qualifications, with additional incentives for the level of growth achieved.
Responsibilities
* General Insurance Broker – Account Executive role duties will include:
* Providing high standard of service to Major Insurance Services clients.
* Preparation and sending of professional documentation to clients.
* Processing of New Business quotes & Renewals with Broker Support assistance.
* Building relationships with Insurers, Underwriters and clients.
To be successful
* Previous Australian General Insurance Broking experience.
* Comprehensive written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
* Empathetic disposition with a logical approach to problem-solving.
* Experience working with Microsoft Office.
* Proven ability to work in a high-performing team.
