Our territory extends from Bulli to Kiama providing In Home Care to eligible participants.
We provide services to NDIS, Aged Care, Private and Worker Insurance participants for Personal Care, Social and Community Support, Domestic Assistance and Yard Maintenance.
About The Role We are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Simply Helping franchise.
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting the growth and success of the business.
You will work closely with the franchise owner to align operational activities with business goals, and lead a team committed to providing outstanding support and care within the community.
Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the franchise to ensure efficiency and quality service delivery.Monitor and support service delivery performance and ensure consistency across all areas of operation.Provide operational guidance and support to the Simply Helping Illawarra team.Develop, maintain, and improve internal processes and policies in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.Ensure the business complies with Work Health and Safety (WH&S) standards and fosters a safety-first culture.Oversee the implementation and integration of systems, including the Integrated Management System (IMS).Manage and monitor production and project timelines to meet business targets.Analyse operational data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and planning.Formulate and implement strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and competitiveness.Collaborate with the Director and team on strategic planning and execution.Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting.Drive continuous improvement across all areas of the business.Lead operational projects from planning through to successful execution.Ensure training and professional development of staff to build a multi-skilled and adaptable workforce.Coach and support team members to foster high performance, accountability, and personal growth.Ensure all activities align with relevant legislation, internal standards, and quality frameworks.Collaborate with Quality and Governance teams to embed best practice across operations.Skills and Experience To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have Proven experience in an operational leadership role (e.g.
Production Manager, Site Operations Manager, Facility Manager, or similar).Demonstrated success in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and methodologies.Previous experience in office or site management and overseeing daily operational functions.A strong commitment to outstanding customer service and stakeholder engagement.Excellent attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills.A strong understanding of quality systems, with the ability to embed a positive safety and quality culture.Confidence in analysing data and operational metrics to inform decisions and drive improvements.Strong written, verbal, and numerical communication skills.About You You're a proactive and experienced Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
You're confident leading teams, improving systems, and ensuring daily operations run efficiently.
You understand the importance of delivering high-quality care and support, and you're committed to upholding the values and standards of Simply Helping.
You'll Ideally Bring Operational leadership experience, preferably in the community services, health, or care sector.Strong working knowledge of compliance, WH&S, and relevant Australian legislation.Experience working within or alongside a franchise model (highly regarded).A practical understanding of rostering, workforce planning, and service delivery coordination.Strong systems knowledge, including confidence using workforce management and operational platforms.A hands-on, adaptable, and solution-focused leadership style.A passion for continuous improvement, staff development, and building a positive team culture.Excellent communication, people management, and problem-solving skills.Relevant qualifications in Business Management, Operations, or a related field.This is a critical leadership position where you'll directly contribute to the ongoing success and impact of the Simply Helping Illawarra franchise.
