Join to apply for the Analyst - Personal Banking Risk and Compliance role at Macquarie Group

The Distribution Governance team works collaboratively across Personal Banking to ensure the risks associated with distribution of financial services products are understood and comprehensively managed.

At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. What role will you play?

In this varied role you will review applications from brokers seeking accreditation with Macquarie, assessing each application against documented policies to ensure that every accredited broker meets the necessary requirements and aligns with Macquarie’s risk appetite. In addition, you will participate in identifying opportunities for process and policy improvements and assist in the preparation of regular operational and management reports to effectively communicate activities and results. You will also contribute to the ongoing governance of brokers, helping to maintain a high level of oversight of Macquarie’s intermediary partners. Furthermore, you will advocate for and enforce a risk mindset across the Personal Banking ecosystem, supporting a culture of prudent risk management.

- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to integrity
- Exceptional communication skills to build trust, challenge stakeholders, and engage confidently
- A proactive, self-driven attitude, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously
- A learning mindset, with a willingness to embrace new challenges, seek feedback, and continuously develop your skills to adapt in a dynamic environment.
