Periscope Maintenance Technician
BAE Systems Australia seeks a skilled professional to perform routine and urgent repairs on high-tech periscope systems aboard operational submarines. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic, electrical, or precision engineering environments and possess relevant qualifications such as a Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or Associate Diploma in Electrical/Electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostics and repairs on periscope systems using advanced automated equipment.
* Assemble, integrate, and validate systems to strict OEM and safety standards.
* Provide technical support and expertise for field service work across Australia and overseas.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in electronic, electrical, or precision engineering environments.
* Proven ability to diagnose and resolve faults at the component level.
* Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or Associate Diploma in Electrical/Electronics.
