We have the fourth highest percentage of female partners according to the AFR Law Partnership Survey, July 2024.We value technical excellence and collegiality, offer a great workplace culture and excellent opportunities to further your career, whether you are just starting out, are an experienced lawyer or a business services professional.About the role With a consistent increase in work from some of Australia's largest insurers, our Property Damage Recoveries team has a brand new opportunity for a lawyer with up to 3 years' PAE to join their team.Working under the guidance of a supportive Partner, this position will see you attending to all stages of the litigation process, including taking instructions and providing initial advices, drafting pleadings, liaising with clients, insurers and other lawyers, negotiating outcomes and appearing at ADR and court events. If you're an early‐career lawyer looking for a hands‐on opportunity to learn whilst having the support and mentorship of a collegiate team and Partner, this could be the perfect role for you.About you Our ideal candidate will be an admitted Lawyer with up to 3 years' PAE, and preferably will have prior experience with property damage claims. Importantly, you will be confident in attending to the day‐to‐day management of your files. If you have experience in other areas of insurance and a genuine interest in property damage recoveries work, we encourage you to apply.
