YOUR ROLE
We're seeking a skilled, creative, and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team full-time. This is an opportunity to influence a modern dessert program and work in one of Melbourne's most picturesque hospitality settings.
You will:
* Create, develop and execute restaurant-quality desserts that complement our Southern Californian menu
* Produce high-quality celebration cakes for birthdays and events
* Work daytime-only shifts — early starts, early finishes, great work-life balance
* Maintain excellent standards of preparation, presentation and consistency
* Collaborate closely with the kitchen team and contribute to a positive, supportive culture
* Assist with training and mentoring junior staff
* Manage your section efficiently under pressure while keeping a high level of organisation
