The Opportunity
We are looking for an experiencedPhysiotherapist to join our Amplar Local team working inNewcastle, in a Full-time (Monday to Friday) Fixed Term role until Decemeber 2026 (with potential for extension.) With a focus on promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in the everyday, you will work with a range of clients, both in residential aged care and community settings, supporting and guiding them to achieve their goals and ultimately to help them live their best lives. We provide services across the following packages and programs:
* Residential aged care facilities: develop, implement, and manage group and 1:1 exercise programs
* Private services: supporting individuals with self-identified needs.
* Rehab in the home program: focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery
* Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalization, including general surgeries
* Home Care Package clients: supporting those in our community who wish to remain independent at home
About you
You are a fully AHPRA registered Physiotherapist, we're open to both experienced practitioners and new graduates.
As a mobile Physio (with your own vehicle, we provide KM reimbursement), ideally you live inNewcastle and are comfortable travelling to our client's homes as well as working in Residential Aged Care Facilities.
You have a patient centred approach and are passionate about better health.
