Sales & Business Development Representative

We are looking for a results-driven sales professional to grow new business across Australian school libraries and support the expansion of our established international opportunities.
This is a hands-on sales role. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, starting conversations, running demos, progressing deals, and contributing directly to revenue growth.
You will work closely with internal teams and partner networks to help schools set up and grow libraries that serve both students and teachers, with a focus on long-term value and ongoing relationships.

Responsibilities
* Prospect and engage school libraries and education organisations across Australia
* Develop new opportunities through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, and referrals
* Run online demonstrations and one-on-one sales conversations
* Leverage existing partnerships to support library setup and future growth opportunities
* Manage multiple sales opportunities at the same time while maintaining accurate CRM records
* Meet defined weekly and monthly sales activity and revenue KPIs
* Represent the business at conferences, events, and online sessions, including some travel
* Work closely with product, marketing, and development teams to share market insights and support sales campaigns
* Take initiative in identifying and running sales activities that drive results

Requirements
* Experience in sales or business development (education or B2B preferred but not essential)
* Comfortable initiating conversations and handling objections
* Strong communication skills across phone, online, and in-person settings
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once
* Self-motivated, accountable, and target-focused
* Comfortable working toward clear sales KPIs
* CRM experience is beneficial
* A genuine interest in education, libraries, or technology is highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail is mandatory
