Senior Cybersecurity Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Senior Analyst to support the delivery of our cybersecurity operations portfolio. This role involves working closely with internal teams and managed security service providers to ensure timely identification, response, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents, safeguarding the organisation's information assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert operational security advice and guidance to ICT stakeholders.
* Deliver cybersecurity operations services including:
* Security monitoring and detection
* Incident response and digital forensics
* Vulnerability assessment and management
* Develop reports and forensic artefacts detailing incident cause, impact, and recovery.
* Collaborate with third-party security service providers to strengthen internal capabilities.
* Oversee incident response, breach investigations, and remediation actions.
* Maintain awareness of emerging threats and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
* Administer cybersecurity controls and escalate major incidents as required.
Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience in cybersecurity operations, focusing on incident management in complex ICT environments.
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
* Ability to analyse and solve complex security issues and process inefficiencies.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
* High level of personal motivation, resilience, and teamwork skills.
Education & Certifications
* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
* Industry certifications such as GCIH, GPEN, GCFA (or similar).
