The Role
This is a fixed term starting in week 6 until the end of the year and based at our Malvern Campus. The Learning Strategies Teacher will demonstrate a passion for engaging and challenging students through effective and innovative teaching.
Key Duties
* Structure teaching programs using research and collegial advice about how students learn
* Develop teaching activities that incorporate differentiated strategies to meet the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities
* Design and implement teaching activities that support the participation and learning of students with disability and address relevant policy and legislative requirements
* Provide flexible support that caters for individual students and use effective assessment methods to track and report on student progress
* Actively participate in professional development activities
* Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviors
Skills and Experience
* Teaching and Presentation, Time Management and Organisation skills
* Direct experience in working with children with individual learning needs
* Flexible, Creative, Approachable and a Team Player
* Learning Intervention (i.e., Special Education post grad) would be desirable
* Hold a current VIT Registration
