About the role
Denmark Waterfront Lodge is seeking a couple to assist with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our beautiful waterfront accommodation in Denmark, Western Australia. This is a role that requires you to reside on-site, providing a welcoming presence and ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay. Award rates, staff discounts and subsidized accommodation by arrangement. Start Date mid-January 2026
What you'll be doing
* Perform regular cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain the high standards of our accommodation and guest facilities
* Manage bookings, check-in and check-out processes for guests
* Generally, help owners grow the accommodation and restaurant business
* Provide exceptional customer service and act as the primary point of contact for our guests
* Undertake general maintenance and upkeep of the property, gardens and facilities
* Monitor and restock supplies as needed
* Assist with the coordination of tradespeople and external services
* Ensure the property is secure and well-presented at all times
* Take care of operations while owners are away
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a caretaker, hospitality or customer service role (RSA and food handling certificates preferred)
* Minimum of 1-2 years experience in caretaker, hospitality or customer service roles is required
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests and stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve high standards
* Proficient in property and grounds maintenance tasks
* Basic handyman skills are required for property maintenance tasks
* Flexible and adaptable to handle a variety of duties
* A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
* Willingness to reside on-site as required by the role
* Australian work rights are required for this position
