Job Details

The role of Accreditation Manager is crucial in ensuring seamless festival operations. This position will be responsible for managing accreditation access and parking for various stakeholders, including participants, staff, performers, contractors, sponsors, and traders.


Key Responsibilities:

* Accreditation Access Management: Oversee the management of accreditation access and parking for all festival participants, staff, performers, event participants, contractors, sponsors, suppliers, and traders.
* Parking Permits: Issue parking permits where required for residents and businesses within the impacted festival precincts.
* Accreditation Checks: Manage and coordinate accreditation checks and access control in conjunction with festival security suppliers.
* Supervision: Supervise any coordinator roles engaged within the Accreditation and Event Registration department.


Requirements:

* Major Event Experience: Professional experience in major event access, accreditation, and ticketing, particularly in a government environment.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and the public at all levels.
* Time Management: Ability to prioritise and effectively manage time and staff, particularly in high-stress times.
* Written and Oral Communication: High level of written and oral communication skills.
* Policies and Procedures: Ability to communicate policies and procedures to production staff under supervision, including Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures, and techniques.
