Job Description We are looking to add a BMW and/or Audi/VW automotive technician to our teamYou should have demonstrated experience as an auto technician with at least 2 years experience working on these specific vehicles.
You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.
Automotive Technician Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
Explain automotive repairs/issues to provide excellent customer service.
Plan repair procedures using charts, repair manuals, and experience.
Test the functionality of parts and systems.
Perform basic service tasks such as inspections, periodic maintenance, and multi-point inspections.
Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
Help keep the repair shop clean and organized.
Maintain a professional appearance.*Experience involving performance modifications and parts installation is a plusAutomotive Technician Requirements:2 years experience working with BMW or Audi/VW vehicles (required).
Diagnostic skills and ability to use diagnostic and tire service equipment.
Understanding of vehicle-specific systems and chassis codes.
Own tools required.
Computer skills including typing technician notes and using shop management software.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
Self-motivated and able to work well with others.
Automotive and engine repair experience or training required.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data for accurate records.
Perform routine maintenance in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with heavy equipment is a plus.
Good hand-eye coordination.
