Reporting to the Communications Director our client is looking to add to the team an enthusiastic and capable part-time/casual Communications.
You will play an active role in supporting the Communications Director across a variety of communications and marketing initiatives including content creation, managing key communication channels, supporting media relations, attendance at occasional events, and engaging with relevant stakeholders.
**R**e**s**pon**s**i**b**i**l**i**ties **i**nc**l**ude**:
- Collaborate with the Communications Director to support the roll-out of strategic communications initiatives.
- Generate compelling content for various communication channels (digital and traditional).
- Manage key communication channels for the organisation including social media and website.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with the media.
- Occasional event management support.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote understanding and collaboration.

- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in social media content creation and management.
- Experience in communications roles.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- A demonstrated 'can-do' attitude and willingness to actively contribute to developing a culture of excellence, creativity, responsiveness, and flexibility.
The following skills would also be desirable:
- Graphic design.
- Basic video editing: An understanding of basic video editing tools for creating social media content.
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
