Role Overview
Business Banking (BB) manages relationships with Commonwealth Bank's small‐medium enterprise customers, mid‐market corporate customers, and regional and agribusiness customers, providing a wide range of financial services and solutions. It also services our personal and institutional online trading customers.
Everyday Business Banking (EBB) supports the full spectrum of customers' cash management needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates, as well as helping them to accept payments through in‐person and e‐commerce solutions. The Deposit and Transactions team is accountable for the development and management of all cash management accounts and their associated customer experiences across these segments.
The role will be primarily responsible for providing efficient, professional delivery of business and administrative support to two General Managers.
Do work that matters
This role is wide‐reaching and not prescriptive in every sense. Discretion and sound judgment are critically important. As Executive Assistant, you'll be the trusted right hand to the General Manager, providing high‐level administrative and strategic support. You'll help streamline operations, manage priorities, and foster strong relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing calendars, meetings, travel, and correspondence.
* Coordinating briefing materials, agendas, and follow‐ups.
* Supporting team operations including budget tracking and event planning.
* Acting as a liaison across internal and external stakeholders.
* Driving team culture and engagement initiatives.

* Streamline team operations through onboarding support, budget management, travel coordination, and event planning, creating a professional, well‐organised environment that fosters productivity.
* Enable the leader to operate effectively by managing schedules, preparing briefing materials, coordinating meetings, and driving follow‐ups thereby ensuring priorities are clear and outcomes are delivered.
* Actively participate in Leadership Team meetings by coordinating agendas, taking minutes, tracking actions, and driving delivery.
