Ember Byron Bay - premium steakhouse & events venue in the heart of Byron Bay. You will lead our Marketing and Sales activities and performance, to deliver celebrations of fun enjoyable experiences & amazingly beautiful memories with a passion & professionalism that surpasses our client's expectations. This is a full-time role.
Who We're Looking For
- Development of Marketing & Sales Strategies across local hospitality markets with a focus on brand awareness and business growth
- Formulate and meet the budgets set for the Marketing team with an understanding of measuring ROI
- Management of the Marketing calendar and strategies to maximise market position including events growth
- Involvement with the direct and digital marketing initiatives of the business.
- Supervise the planning, development and issue of promotional and communication materials
- Have previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry
- Are able to work autonomously and maintain a high level of consistency and productivity.
- Be dynamic with innovation to the ongoing development of the groups Digital Marketing and Social Media presence.
- You are a high energy, passionate individual, who genuinely cares about creating beautiful and memorable experiences for guests.
- You must have a close eye for detail and an appetite to continually improve standards and customer experience. This role will require a highly organised, experienced and dynamic operator who understands the demands of the role and keeps their eye on business performance.
- People are at the forefront of everything we do, so you will be accountable for encouraging a strong team culture and positively influencing those around you - staff and customers. You'll need leadership presence and be someone our team look up to.
- You will be responsible for bringing a fun, playful and attentive feel to the venue. A high energy, fast paced environment will make work feel like play.
**You'll Need**
- A significant Restaurant, Event & Hospitality Marketing background
- Demonstrated background in sourcing and converting key business opportunities
- Familiarity with brand growth through social media channels
- Experience in pre-openings / Re-launches would be highly beneficial
- Full knowledge of all marketing streams including digital and social media
- The ability to lead, supervise & co-ordinate a multi-skilled team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Be pro-active and motivated to succeed
- Knowledge of venue operations - rostering, time sheets, up-selling, labour control and stocktake - and a thirst to learn more and contribute on other areas you have knowledge in.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Our venue is nights & weekends so you must be available at these times.
This position is offering a competitive remuneration of $65,000 per annum plus super, staff benefits and the opportunity to learn from some of the best.
