**About the Role**

We have **two 12-month max term contracts** available; one is **full-time** and the other is **part-time** (5 day fortnight/0.5FTE). Both positions are based out of our Milton office. A tool of trade vehicle allowance will be allocated for both roles, this will mean you will need to use your own car for work travel.

This hybrid role involves working both from the office and home, with the majority of work taking place in client homes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Developing and maintaining supportive relationships with children, young people, and their parents/caregivers.
- Supporting the development of skills in children, young people, and parents to achieve safety and stability goals.
- Facilitating group work with clients including parenting programs and victims and perpetrators of domestic violence
- Liaising with stakeholders and participating in meetings to ensure effective collaboration.
- Conducting assessments, creating action plans, and coordinating review meetings to promote positive outcomes.
- Adhering to organizational policies, recording client information, and reporting incidents.
- Upholding the organization's values and promoting a safe, abuse-free environment.
- Supporting the mission of the organization and complying with relevant legislation and requirements.

**Skills & Experience**
- Degree in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology or Human Services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for relationship-building.
- Deep empathy and understanding of children, young people, and families.
- Knowledge of domestic violence and family violence frameworks (Safe and Together knowledge highly regarded).
- Skilled in assessment, planning, and case management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Prior experience in child and family support, counselling, or social work.
- Proven history of working with individuals with experiences of trauma.
