About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Facilities Management Team.
The Senior Director of Maintenance will report to the IHSS Executive Group Manager and will be responsible for leading a team of internal trade staff and contractors and strategically managing planned and reactive maintenance activities across Canberra Hospital and off-site facilities.
The Senior Director of Maintenance will have a detailed and extensive knowledge of facilities management including a comprehensive knowledge of relevant Compliance, Australian Standards, Legislation, Regulations, Code of Practice and the ability to interpret and apply CHS Policies and Procedures.
The incumbent will provide outstanding leadership and management skills, have extensive negotiation skills and be able to represent at a senior level on behalf of the organization. The position is crucial to the support of patient care by ensuring the day-to-day maintenance and operations of facilities, including the management of staff and financials (budget).
