Torrens to Darlington Spoil Management Expert
John Holland has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project.
The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in the near future.
The project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
Job Description:
* Plan, coordinate, and implement spoil management strategies to ensure efficient and safe operations on this massive infrastructure project.
* Engage with key stakeholders regarding spoil activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and project approvals.
* Coordinate spoil movement from tunnelling and surface excavation works, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
* Manage logistics for spoil haulage, including fleet coordination, traffic management, and interface with site teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience managing spoil, materials, or logistics on large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Understanding of environmental requirements for spoil handling, disposal, and reuse.
* Ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and haulage fleets.
* High-level planning, scheduling, and organisational skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred.
