About the Role
We're looking for a Qualified Butcher to join our Woolworths New Zealand team.

Showcase your impressive knife skills and knowledge of meat. In this hands‐on role, a day in the life could look like:
Responsibilities
* Cutting, trimming and packaging meat products as well as using different machinery
* Interacting with customers helping them choose the best cuts of meat for their needs
* Maintaining great presentation for the Butchery department
* Sharing your knowledge by training and developing other team members
* Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors
* Regularly lifting up to 15kgs, bend, reach and complete repetitive movements
Qualifications
* Hold a NZ Certificate in Trade Butchery
* Have a willingness to start early and work on your feet for most of your shift
* Be a strong communicator and effectively communicate with customers and team members
