The Role As a Business Development Advisor, you will serve as a vital link between our client and their customers. You will move beyond transactional sales to provide strategic advice on fleet maintenance and parts inventories. Key Responsibilities: Identify & Qualify: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within the agricultural sector. Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic advice on fleet maintenance and parts inventories rather than just taking orders. Technical Problem Solving: Utilize electronic parts catalogues (EPC) to accurately identify components and find alternative solutions. Market Intelligence: Act as the "voice of the customer" to report on machinery failures and gaps in the product range. Strategy Implementation: Work with the General Sales Manager to define and implement National Agri strategies and marketing actions. Relationship Management: Maintain a portfolio of existing customers while networking to improve the company's reputation. Experience: Previous experience in Parts Interpretation, Agricultural Sales, or Machinery Maintenance. Market Expertise: A strong understanding of the Australian agricultural market.
