Lead Educator Role Summary

About the Job
* As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for leading daily operations in your designated room, mentoring fellow educators, and developing engaging programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS standards.
* You will work closely with the Centre Director to ensure a cohesive approach to education, collaboration, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Liaise with centre staff to coordinate day-to-day operations and provide guidance on teaching practices.
2. Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
3. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, observations, and learning outcomes.
4. Foster positive relationships with families and communicate effectively about their child's development.
Requirements
* A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or relevant qualifications.
* Working with Children Check (Employee – VIC).
* First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (HLTAID012 or equivalent).
* Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting Certificate.
* Prior experience as a Lead Educator or similar leadership role.
* Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS frameworks.
