About the Role

* Review contracts and manage operational risk to ensure compliance with legal excellence and risk management policies and procedures.

* Support the Risk Manager, General Counsel, and Legal Excellence & Risk team in implementing the firm's legal excellence and risk management framework.
">
* Assist in identifying, describing, and estimating risks affecting the firm, including new and existing risks.
">
* Conduct regular file audits and report back to firm management and the Risk Committee on key results and themes.
">
* Review clients' terms of engagement for external legal suppliers and other third-party contracts.
">
* Manage legal and operational issues related to tenders, including insurance-related queries.
">
* Assist team members in managing the firm's engagement agreements, updating appointment terms, and providing training as required.
">
* Participate in general day-to-day risk management activities, such as conflict assessment and management of privacy obligations.
">
* Assist in conducting privacy impact assessments and AI risk assessments.
">
* Support the development and implementation of the firm's Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorism Financing program.
">
* Collaborate with the Information Security Manager to develop and maintain the firm's cyber security risk management framework.
">

About You
">
">
* You will have a legal qualification and experience.
">
* You will have knowledge of risk management processes and principles, as well as experience with risk registers and liaising with senior management risk owners.
">
* Risk management, compliance, Anti-Money Laundering or auditing qualifications are desirable.
">
* You will have experience using document management systems.
">
* You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
">
* You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
">
* You will be highly organized, able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

* You will be able to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
