Seeking heavy vehicle mechanics / diesel fitters with commercial experience or even better emergency vehicle experience!
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing emergency response vehicles and associated equipment, ensuring fleet reliability and operational readiness. This role may require working away in rural areas when required. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, manage day-to-day workshop activities, maintain accurate service records, and ensure all work meets safety and compliance requirements. Work will primarily be carried out on Rosenbauer 6x6 emergency vehicles.
Benefits
* $75 per hour + super + penalties
* Minimum 3–6 months of work, with strong potential to be ongoing

What you need
* Recognised trade qualification in heavy vehicles / diesel mechanics
* Experience maintaining heavy or emergency vehicles
* Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work autonomously and manage workloads
* Full working rights in Australia (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
