We are seeking applications for the part-time position of Bowls Administrator for The Entrance Bowling Club at The Greens The Entrance. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, has great administrative skills and loves making a significant contribution to our community by growing and maintaining the club's involvement in bowls.
About the Role...
As a Bowls Administrator, your purpose is to support The Greens The Entrance strategic plan through local sports initiatives and community engagement. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for supporting the bowling club, promoting, and managing lawn bowls programs.
Other responsibilities include:
* Promote lawn bowls events and initiatives within the club and to the wider community.
* Support participation in district, state, club, and social bowls competitions.
* Develop an annual bowls program in consultation with The Match Committee.
* Support daily operations for social bowls events.
* Liaise with coaches, umpires, and committees to ensure compliance with Bowls NSW regulations.
* Monitor adherence to required club policies.
* Provide advice to selection committees regarding open and single-gender pennant teams.
* Manage Bowls Link, ensuring data is correct and up to date
About You...
We are looking for an exceptional communicator with a knack for building interpersonal relationships, who can demonstrate:
* Thorough knowledge of lawn bowls rules and administrative procedures
* Demonstrated organisational skills with keen attention to detail
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
* Strong digital literacy with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and other applications.
* Relevant experience in a similar administrative capacity or within the lawn bowls sector (preferred)
* Current Working with Children Check (required)
* Current First Aid certificate (preferred)
