Job Description
The role of a Rehabilitation Consultant is to provide workplace rehabilitation services that help people return to work and achieve independent lives. You will be part of a multidisciplinary allied health team focusing on psychological assessment, vocational and injury counselling, and facilitated return‐to‐work programs.
Responsibilities
* Undertake psychological initial, worksite, functional, and early intervention assessments
* Conduct vocational and adjustment to injury counselling
* Identify return‐to‐work barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that help injured employees return to the workforce
* Undertake vocational assessments and transferable skills analyses
* Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes applicable to all parties
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work and current AASW membership or eligibility to obtain
* Willingness to travel – a current vehicle and driver's licence is essential
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
* Sense of punctuality and effective time management
