Job Role Overview
The position of Field Engineer involves providing technical support to the Global ICT Logistics function, necessitating close integration with personnel within the ICT Contracts and Asset Management Division.
* Tracking and receipting of ICT assets, stock requirements, and consumables both domestically and internationally.
* Management of inventories, invoices, and registers.
* Server and storage repair and maintenance.
* Technical assistance for Enterprise products.
You will be successful in this role if you possess:
* A current NV2 Clearance is required.
* 4-6 years of hands-on technical experience.
* Electronics training equivalent to at least 2 years of technical institutes, polytechnic, and/or military technical schools/universities.
Required Skill Set:
* Asset Management data analysis.
* Data cleansing and maintenance.
* Asset Management reporting.
* ITSM tool upgrade client support.
Key Responsibilities
This job entails receiving, storing, tracking and maintaining ICT equipment, managing inventory levels and ensuring optimal functionality. Technical expertise in server and storage management is also essential. Strong communication skills are vital to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
