Regional Director - Asia Pacific
Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a global non-profit organisation whose mission is to bring help, hope and healing through aviation to people living in isolation and poverty. Every 5.5 minutes, a MAF aircraft takes off or lands somewhere in the world, transporting people who live in remote villages and assisting missions, churches, aid and development agencies and others working to transform the lives of remote and isolated communities.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to play a pivotal role in leading and directing our operations as the Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region. This challenging and rewarding leadership opportunity requires a strong leader with a passion for serving others and spreading the love of Christ.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective long-term strategies and short-term objectives in alignment with our overall mission and priorities. They will lead and mentor the Asia Pacific Country Directors to facilitate effective programme performance, oversee the training and development of staff, ensure compliance with all relevant policies, and engage actively in the Operations Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective long-term strategies and short-term objectives in alignment with our overall mission and priorities.
* Lead and mentor the Asia Pacific Country Directors to facilitate effective programme performance.
* Oversee the training and development of staff and ensure staff are cared for on a personal, spiritual, and corporate level.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, including HR policies, financial management, risk mitigation, and other regulatory policies.

Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
* Aptitude in verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning.
* Ability to work within a values-driven framework, particularly when resolving conflicting priorities.
* Extensive leadership and general management experience at a senior level within a non-profit context.
* Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and team-building abilities.
* Commitment to our evangelical Christian beliefs and values.
* Familiarity with the Asia Pacific region and its cultural dynamics.
* Experience in working effectively in a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
