About the Role
Conder Dental Centre is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in Conder, ACT. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth operation of our modern dental practice. What You'll Be Doing
* Assisting dentists during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and handing instruments as required
* Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment notes
* Ensuring the dental clinic and equipment are clean, well-stocked, and in good working order
* Providing high-quality customer service and a positive experience for our patients
* Undertaking general administrative tasks as required
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and the wider team
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation procedures
* A team-oriented approach and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in using dental software and technology
* A relevant dental assisting qualification or certification
