About the role
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our household on a part-time basis. We are looking for someone available one day a week 8-4 on a permanent part time basis. The position is starting Jan 2026 due to retirement of our current housekeeper. We have a cleaner one day a week already but need someone who feels they can be passionate about running the day to day requirements of a household. We are flexible with hours and days.
What you'll be doing
* Thoroughly maintaining rooms, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
* Changing linens, making beds, and restocking foods, bathrooms and bedrooms
* Washing dishes and kitchen utensils
* Using the dishwasher
* Managing laundry and linen management
* Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
* Assisting with pet care requirements
* Basic shopping for staples which would involve petty cash mangement also
* Organising trades such as pool maintenance and gardening
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently and independently
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly, service oriented approach
